I didn't think she was a bitch. She and kyosuke had a 3 year period where they didn't even talk to eachother, and the whole time she's dealing with wanting her brother to love her, whilst at the same time mourning the fact that he's not the same person he was before Manami changed him.
Her being a bitch is a defense mechanism. You really see it when he confesses to her and she calls him a creep and says she hates him. She doesn't want him to ruin his life over her, but when he refuses to let her go she realises it's ok, hence the crying and "hai".
