I saw a video of Kyou's dub voice and I hated it. She sounds too old: she sounds like a grandma. At least Nagisa's voice was decent but I hated how they kept mispronouncing her name (it's Na-gi-sa, not Nuh-geese-a).

Personally the setting can matter for me. I think a show like Hellsing loses out on something when you can't hear the clashing of the accents.

Yusuke without question, but I'm willing to say Kuwabara as well. Shigeru Chiba is a really underrated voice actor, but Sabat brings out something in Kuwabara I just can't put my finger on.
But at the end of the day, maybe it's just because I watched the dub first.

These are all pretty good choices.
While you could arguably say literally every from Black Lagoon, Revy is probably the biggest for me since I loved her scratchy dyke voice over the smooth Jap one. It fit her boisterous, obnoxious personality a lot better in my opinion.

This one is less objective and more personal. I feel the English dub for Spice and Wolf was pretty fucking weak at times, but Holo and Lawrence just felt a lot more natural in English than anything else. I've found it's another pattern with good dubs that most of the good dubs only take place in anime with a Western setting, and to me S&W isn't an exception.

The sub vs dub war is just stupid honestly. It doesn't matter anymore. You know the reason the war started in the first place? Well when VHS was still a thing, there would be two tapes to choose from: one with English audio and one with Japanese audio with English subtitles. Back then you had to make a choice which one to get because there weren't streaming services yet either. Now however, not only are there streaming services where both versions are simultaneously available to you at no extra cost, but home releases will be either sub only or have both sub and dub.
It's fine to have a preference, but the war itself is 100% irrelevant and stupid. There doesn't have to be one or the other anymore.

The last one I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is the main girl from Ergo Proxy. The show was a mess and overall forgettable aside from its atmosphere and OP, but I do remember that the English VA for her blew the Jap one out of the water. That was balanced by the dude being such a drag that it sounded like he was permanently sighing when he spoke. Also there was a scene I remember with two guards that literally sounded like they asked two random assholes off the street to yell some lines into a microphone, and it was hilarious/horrible.
There aren't many good dubs out there, let alone dubs in which some or all the English VAs outclass the Japanese ones, so this is a short list.
Honorable mentions include the VAs from El Cazador de la Bruja, since the Mexican accents and Taco Song really made the show, and the Michiko to Hatchin dub, since many of the black characters sounded better in English. Overall the M&H dub was kinda crappy with the extras though.
I used to be a 'loldub' kinda person, but this guy's dub voice blows his original VA out of the water. It's so damn good. I'm straight, but his voice is pure sex.

Considering South Park and Drawn Together were their main inspirations for the show, to say it was unnecessary or out of place is pretty retarded. Besides, nothing they said in the original was particularly funny, the dub actually adds jokes and clever wordplay instead of a just a bunch of cheesy engrish cussing. Plus, the English voices fit better anyway.

English Motoko in SAC+2nd Gig is ridiculously good. Hell, most of the mainstay cast in SAC is amazing. I sometimes wonder if a better dub will ever exist.
