Tokiwa was a miracle of the universe. I see a lot of complaints because of the second part of the manga being very different from the first but both were great. Kasuga had to grow up and it was interesting to see how he become a good guy with Tokiwa. But yeah the whole "this village is hell on earth" business was the best thing in AnH so i understand why people liked the first part.
