I still cant imagine Guts beating an elite Apostle without dying.
>>137376345

A lot of manga series are garbage, man.

He rekt the strongest ones when he was injured. Aside from Zodd I don't think any of the apostles even stand a chance against him.
Where does Femt keep his dick?
You need to understand that Berserk isn't noteworthy by any universal standard. It has above average writing to make ignorant weebs think they're consuming some complex work of art but in reality, it is nothing more than a shallow battle shonen in disguise of something more. These fans believe they hold a sense of intellectual superiority to fans of the latter but they are sadly misguided. Show them something like Andrei Rublev or Shahnameh and they would be left bewildered. The fact is consuming Berserk is actually unhealthy to the human mind, it stunts emotional growth and maturity.

Uhm Grumbeld was about to fuck his life up
>>137376698
Zodd, Grumbeld. the Archer guy and the Calvarly guy can all match up to Guts
>>137376190
It'll be good when Miura stops being a lazy ass.
>>137376954
The art is absolutely gorgeous. No one cares what you have to say about the story faggot.
>>137376954

>>137377305
You are welcome to stay in your comfort zone, like most of the posters here. Just remember you are the one inflicting harm on yourself.
>>137377410
>tfw you enjoy Berserk and the same shit all you name-dropping tryhards try to invoke
Try talking about personal growth when you dont feel the need to jerk yourself off over media choice
>>137376954
Did Kentaro Miura kill your family or something?
>>137376190
Nah. Punpun's better.
>>137376954
>people are falling for this shitty bait

They can't face the truth, so jerking away from is natural.

It's not Berserk, Berserk is good fun, but it's just gradually getting worse a at this point and not going anywhere, I would consider it a good fun manga but not a masterpiece.
YKK though I would consider a masterpiece, great, characters, art, world and the way the simple day to day events build up a full picture of that world and all the characters in it and how everything is gradually changing before things come full circle it's exceptionally good. Then everything gradually wound down, tied up nicely and came to an end. A great manga doesn't have to be > 20 volumes long, if anything most manga that drag on that long eventually just lose their purpose, like 20th century boys that should have ended much earlier than it did.
>there are newfags on /a/ who actually believe that Berserk is shonen

Andrei Rublev has always been boring shite.
In terms of quality, Throne of Blood for example, is infinitely superior and came out almost a decade prior.
Berserk is absolutely a masterwork.
My frustration however arsies from the fact that its irregular publishing schedule precludes me from finding it more satisfying.

>like 20th century boys that should have ended much earlier than it did.
I agree and disagree a the same time. While it should have ended earlier and dragged on for a bit, the ending wouldn't have been as satisfying as it is if it ended earlier.

For the "best manga EVAR 420 BLAZE IT" the author doesnt give much of a shit about it.
>>137376263
5 months.
>>137384497
Maybe chapters are coming out at a snail's pace because he does give a shit about it.
>>137384692
Not when he keeps taking undue vacations. It's clear Miura just wants to abandon the series considering how long it has been since the series went for, and how much the pace has slowed. I would have agreed with you if it were the 90's, when the guy published it regularly, but it's definitely not the case now. Also consider how he managed to finish a series on the side, and yet cannot bring the effort to continue this one, and let that be the indicator about how much he cares.
>>137376190
Bokurano is also bretty good
>>137387543
If you are the author of a very popular manga, why would you want it to end ?
>>137387649
Because Idolm@ster.
