What is this some Aniplex stealth marketing? Of course I've heard of Granblue Fantasy, it's one of the fastest growing Mobage that Aniplex practically leapt on top of to get the animation rights to and then days later basically said our bad we don't actually have any clear cut plans for an anime now, we just want the rights to the easy money.
They'll probably fuck up and replace Uematsu's music with something cliche like Sawano or Kajiura or something and then A-1ize the designs into their usual generic easy to animate round face style. I'm picturing something like what happened with Cinderella Girls or Phoenix Wright. The show will probably be about as phoned in as IM@S CG too and then they'll make easy money off of fanatical fans buying the BD's though not nearly as much as they would have made had they bothered to give a fuck.

It's pretty much another one of those mobage grind fests that uses the formula of lots of popular artists + cute girls + RPG grinds + lots of events to keep people playing = mass profit. Kind of wish Mappa got this rather than A-1 though cause they have more imagination and when they give a shit they really give a shit.
Like it always has to be A-1 for fantasy game adaptations now which is annoying cause frankly they fucking suck at it but it's like companies are afraid to try any other company now cause god forbid SAO worked out as did Cinderella Girls just barely (frankly Bamco saved it for themselves with some clever marketing and packaging) so now everyone apparently needs to get their top IPs adapted by A-1 including Capcom, Cygames and Dengeki cause there are no other options. Frankly I'm still not convinced A-1 is the one carrying the day so much as the brand power of the franchises themselves, but nope, don't ever try anywhere else Japan.
