>Villain argues society is garbage and deserves to die in a fire
>turns out it's true
damn.
I liked this show because it didn't seem to follow the typical hero and villain troupes.
For instance, when Seitenshi asks Rentaro what he wants, his reply is that he wants power. Power to protect the people he loves, but power nonetheless.
At the end when the train stops because someone died on the tracks and Rentaro laments that it's going to make them late, he worries that he's becoming insensitive to death. Typical heroes don't worry about that kind of thing.

I hate that this is true.

Black Bullet was a good show. I remember considering it mediocre at the time with the edgy masked nihilist and the lolicancer and all that, but as the episodes progressed and time passed I've come to regard it as being a very worthwhile watch. I miss it.

Also, it had an awesome OST.

>Power to protect the people he loves, but power nonetheless
People say this all the time in anime, though. "I have to get stronger so I can protect them" is basically a stock line.
Black Bullet was shit but it was fun to watch thanks to LRD

In the main anime he was wrong.
Then they made Ao.

I liked it the same way you like watching old black and white scifi movies from the 50's. It wasn't good, but it was so brutally and hilariously honest to the cliches it was mindlessly regurgitating that it became funny as a parody, though unintentionally.
It had a few good moments, but most of it was just laughing at the fact that this somehow not only got written, published and sold for money, but was successful enough to get an adaptation without a shred of irony.

I never finished E7. The plot was shit, and Renton was annoying, but the Renton-Eureka love story was so fucking cute it got me up through half of the second season.
Then shit started getting serious so I had to drop it.
How was Dewy correct?
He tried to warn him. He could have just let the Gastraea purify the shitty human world and lived with his loli harem.

I didn't watch it as it aired, how did he react?

He was only right for his own capacity.
But to be fair his capacity was really huge, were I him, I too wouldn't expect someone too surpass me enought to defeat the anti-spirals

>villain
we could be here all day with this
>>137181879
It also had tons of cute girls and made me angry that when they died.

is that what heaven looks like?
You don't shit about society.
>>137185852
Yes, but you only get to keep that if you give a home to a poor blind girl. If you don't invite her in you lose it all after a moment.
