I thought everything about the gameboard was evident by the end of EP6, and every other thing was clear as day by the end of EP7.
EP7 and some things in EP8 even shed plenty of light about things that took place in Prime.

Well, the locked room with gohda George and Shannon in ch2 could be speculated about infinitely if not for the answer which showed that yasu used a wire trick, that the reader had no exposure to, to hide the gun behind the mirror.
I doubt there would have been definitive answers for things like that without having to show us what actually happened.

In a nutshell. The uncertainty is what made the catbox endless, in the sense that people could spew crack theories about everything forever. The manga adding a right answer for everything short of the logic error in Dawn of the Golden Witch was kind of a bummer. I at least wanted to hold on to the possibility that the Trick ending was canon.

Really? I remember we talked about this a lot back in 2009, and plenty of people knew this was a reference to howJustice Lawrencekilled himself in Ten Little Niggers and thus it was clear she used a similar contraption to have the gun shoot her dead and end up hidden afterwards.

Well as someone who read the VN in 2013 alone it wasn't really apparent on who the real culprit was until ep 6 and even then the tricks used in ch1-4 were a mystery to me, so I'm just wondering whether people who say it should have been apparent all along read and theorized alone or together with others.am I dum
Did the writers of the anime know the answers? I've heard before that they didn't, but I noticed they actually got Shannon's position in this scene right (as in, she's facing the well, since that how she shot herself)
