Every time characters start talking, Favaro needs to get in and ask them if there's actually a point to this shit.
Like half of the show is them doing or talking about completely banal stuff, and there's nothing intrinsically wrong with that but it's so frequently trivial and mundane that it doesn't even really contribute to character development or worldbuilding.
Lots of anime have that issue where characters exposit about dumb shit that doesn't have any real short-term or long-term importance but goddamn, this is like 2/3rds of every episode.
I just wish they would be facing DS tier enemies with shitty group. It would be glorious
