That said, Osamu is still pretty much a weakling, but he recently got a new idea. We've yet to see how he'll use it, but considering how he's legit excited, he'll probably do some impressive stuff.
That said, what he'll do is still be ultimately a support and command unit, not a person who gets hits in. That's Yuuma's job.

Kinda minor thing to point out, but I really like the subtle way Ashihara draws electricity with super thin white lines. Also, first shields and now backpack triggers? I love those designs. At first I thought the future where Tachikawa gets cut in half would be jinxed, but those backpack blades and the other guy standing back on higher ground are making me reconsider... I hope Tachikawa shows his Senku strategically to attack the dude with the weird satellite looking things instead of just giving away that he has a long range attack, if not that might be what seals his fate. That or he should coordinate with Konami's meteors.

Since they confirmed they're going to animate the next rank war, I'm thinking they might just do another filler afterward, or try to end it temporarily with a "we'll get stronger!" thing right before the next invasion but after Osamu and Chika find their new triggers to use/train with. They might be able to do this invasion though if it's done in the manga by the time they get to it in the anime, because there's at least 23 chapters of material right now. There was also some decent filler (more like fluff) like in the Nasu Squad episodes or Rinji's abduction they could also do for some extra padding without messing with the pacing. Honestly, I just don't want the anime to stop completely... it's grown on me, even this filler arc was enjoyable enough and there's some budget in most of the action scenes now.

Border has those triggers because they stole them from neighbors, but they don't have much of a technology to develop triggers, or money. Tamakoma-2 are all experimental if I remember correctly.
Let's say they got Hyuse's trigger, that doesn't mean their technology is good enough to replicate it.
Neighbors on the other hand are miles ahead in technology so to them developing new triggers doesn't seem to be an issue.

That's weird. Generally the series beginning is considered its weakest part, but it gets a lot better. If you like fun Science fantasy and don't mind a large cast the ngo for it. The fights focus on strategy, teamwork,and precision and for the most part are pretty satisfying. Also the series rankings is actually the cause of the authors health problems.
