Maou-sama is in my top five favorite anime of all time. I've rewatched it almost 10 times I thinkmostly drunk.The lack of S2 despite all the reasons it should exist is killing me.

First 2 volumes were covered. Currently the english translations are up to volume 9, and there are even more novels not yet translated.

Has there really been no word of a season 2 though? What the actual fuck is wrong with them? I personally think that Maou would be able to absolutely destroy Emi. The main reason is because it was referenced several times that Emi was able to defeat Lucifer twice, but both times it was very difficult for her and she was never able to kill him.
Then we get that scene in the show where Lucifer originally shows up and gets btfo by Maou in like thirty seconds, which makes me think that Emi really isn't a match for Maou.

She's not lovey dovey yet. They've been separated for a while also, so they haven't been able to interact at all recently in the story.
She is starting to soften up though, since she's finally accepting that even though he's the demon lord he's legitimately a good person and every decision he made he believed would be beneficial for everyone.
As of ln 9 she really wants him to come get her, but she's still confused on how she feels about him. Another anon said in a thread a few months ago that in volume 10 she finally realizes that she like him.
It'll be funny to see how oblivious he acts towards her though, just like with Chiho and Suzuno.
