Probably due to how large of an adventure it was.
Seeing Johnny develop along side Gyro and witnessing all the hardships they've endured made it worth the ride. The flashbacks when they where younger helped a lot and having enemies like Tatoo You! was a blast.
Plus it has some strong moments. It really stands out when you see Gyro and Johnny sharing a drink within the snow after trying to get rid of the money and the final shootout with Valentine was a great.
Though the alt Diego reveal is what I'm mixed about even though we see moments like this.

I actually tallied up all the villain battles from Stardust depending on who were the main characters that fought them that episode e.g. Alessi was Jotaro and Polnareff, Cameo was Avdol and Polnareff, DIO was everyone except Iggy and Avdol.
The results I got were

Polnareff - 13
Kakyoin - 9
Joseph - 8
Avdol - 5
Iggy - 3
It was actually pretty even leading up to the Egypt arc but once that point was crossed Polnareff continued climbing whilst Avdol, Joseph, Kakyoin and Iggy got fuck all.

Part 4 and part 6 are entirely in color in english on batoto. Part 5's new transition is about half way there. SBR only has a few color chapters out in english

Just finished the first season of Stardust Crusaders. I'm a little disappointed that all the villains have really gimmicky stands. I went in thinking all the stands would be manly spirits similar to Jotaro's and co.
