Probably he settled on wearing bandanas because he couldn't risk to break another pair of glasses, considering how much his ass gets kicked in this series.
Anyway, I miss his glasses too. But at least whatever he's wearing now is tons better than the towel he had in his head for more of the SS and the whole HM/Mexico arc.

Toriyama's motion during fight scenes are still unsurpassed. He's a great artist back when he used to give a shit, his character faces are simple but he packs detail in other aspects of his art.
Basically his art was great up until everyone's muscles because perfect polygons.

Although at the ending one shot the dialogue indicates that Kururu might be Ikki's tuner and that was an one time thing. I dunno. Oh!Great managed to make the ending just open enough that he can potentially make a sequel in the future.
