Of course it's awkward given that Vamirio is "Anne from Management", but it still feels like they were much more steely than was reasonable - especially given these are *recent events* to Helck; he shouldn't really be able to get through his story without losing the thread at least once.

We've hit a point where the story now has to balance out comedy and serious, which isn't easy to do. Beforehand there was plenty of comedy with the occasional serious moments, but now we know the ultimatum; if Helck kills the King, then humanity will basically perish and/or destroy everything around them. And the New World Organisms are a threat to Demonkind as well. Thus Helck, Vamirio and everyone else have to find a solution to both problems with real and valid danger likely to ramp up now.
