What was the first anime you watched?
For me it was Ghost Hunt at 6:00 in the morning because I couldn't record it for later.
First watched subbed anime when I was 13 years old. Watched Yugioh GX Season 4 on youtube in Japanese because it was never dubbed into English. Any other anons do that?

Well, the first anime I watched was probably Yu Yu Hakusho , but I was too little to care about it or to even understand anything. Now if I were to talk about the first anime I became interested in, I'd say either Dragon Ball Z or Cardcaptor Sakura, I started watching both of them I was about 5 or 6, I think.

Sword Art Online. People can shit on it all they want, but it is a really good gateway anime just like Attack on Titan.
Watching anime on TV was such suffering. You never knew when the broadcaster would pull the plug or the anime would enter in a infinite loop of reruns because they didn't bought the rights for the next season.

However I count CSS as my first anime. Jumping from that to Rurouni Kenshin is kinda weird, now that I think about it.

The very first anime that comes to my head... I do not remember its name but the hero was a kid fighting robots with a squirt gun. The robots were made with cylinders and. Then a huge robot appears and the kid shoots at the leg but the squirt gun does not damage to it. Other robots in the anime fly on a car breaking down AA guns. To this date I still can't recall the name of this one.
The 2nd anime I can recall for ms is tied between Space Battleship Yamato, Astro-Boy and Queen Millenia at 7:00 AM Saturdays.

oh god. ive blocked this shit out of my memory. im pretty sure i cried at one point in this show when I was like 10 or 11. There was no easy access to DL stuff from internet for my age at that time. I literally used a Home Alone talkback thing to record that one song from TV that plays when they find all the crystals or some shit.

It was actually really dope for the first two years. Plenty of joking and discussion as we watched, cool people. Then most of the witty people graduated and a bunch of quiet people and guys who just played maplestory in the back joined and things kinda fell apart.
