The manga, despite it's status as a promotional side piece for the show, is actually very enjoyable and much better than the TV airing. It moves at a pace similar to the original Dragon Ball manga, rather than the hideous, snail paced filler ridden garbage that is the Super anime.
Of course, Super hasn't actually started yet technically, as we're still at the movie adaption episodes, so hold your judgement for now.

This is wrong. Toriyama is not "doing" anything. He merely lays out the plot structure/concepts and everyone else follows it while they "do" their work.

I remember someone here posting a side-by-side comparison of the broadcast fight and BD fight a while ago and redrawn key frames still didn't help that fight's choreography.
