Yeah. The anime stays fairly true to the VN, except for the Moeka arc. If you like one you will likely like the other.
There is a lot more explaining about the science in the VN, and in general just feels a bit slower and more fleshed out, as to be expected.
The biggest difference in my opinion is that you constantly get to read what Okabe thinks, which adds a lot to some scenes and even make some of them feel totally different. The phone messaging system also helped show some softer sides of nearly all the characters, especially Kurisu.
