There's a lot of luck involved. A starter deck can beat an expert deck if you flip the right cards. If you want a highly competitive game, where you work hard to make a good deck, and beat other people based on skill, this isn't for you. If you want a fun game with cute anime girls to casually play with friends, this is it.

most sets have very similar functioning cards, and its very swingy and luck based, but not so oppressive as say YuGiOh. Still shit mechanic wise compared to other nip games like Wixoss, or the grandaddy Magic. Its fun however.
