Somebody posted that Natsume Yuujinchou is getting another season a month ago? I can't find confirmation anywhere on the internet, is it true anons? My soul needs more healing
I think it was actually an event announcement or something and someone just spouted bullshit without even trying to translate the page.
It deserves a S5 but we'll never get it.
It has a stage booked for Anime Japan so some kind of announcement is expected.
the yokai are loud but it's full of beautiful little stories and the healing factor for me came with the slow but constant personal growth of Natsume from an outcast to a happy person. Kamiya's soothing voice helped also
It was something like a talk show with Natsume and Nyanko's seiyuu
When we do get another season I hope the
Fujoshits keep their bl crap out of the threads, it tends to spoil them
Not that anon, I don't like looking at it as a fujo show, but I can't deny that onsen scene with Natori and some other moments.
I'd rather look at it as a comfy cute boys doing cute things show, but oh well, Natsume was really fun.
Natsume is used goods. He was passed around as a fucktoy by all his sadistic relatives, and now the old folks he's with will only take him because of his submissive attitude towards their advances.
Every night, they're up there fucking, the three of them, in every lewd disgusting way possible while Nyanko sensei is out drinking.
Fucking disgusting used goods!
>Threads for your favorite anime always die early on because it's too good and there's nothing to argue about
But it's already a harem.
Fuck, I really love this anime, it's way better than Aria, and that's coming from a yurifag who would love to be able to prefer Aria if possible.
>tfw you listen to the glorious ending of the second season
>there are people
>in this thread
>who don't think that fox episodes are the best episodes
>tfw I always thought it was a loli
>it was a shota all along
Hey hey, back off. Tree is already best girl
I loved the detail that theme of the season was the same as the season of the anime. If it aired in Summer the OP and ED had summer themes if the season aired in Winter it had winter OP and ED.
I heard that Natsume Yuujinchou is extremely popular in Japan, that its merchandise is everywhere and things like that. Is that true? Few people know it in the west so that's kind of hard to believe.
Also, enjoy this pic of a cute lesbian youkai.
It runs in a shoujo magazine, it's shoujo.
Natsume begins to lose his power to interact with the spirit world after returning all the names, and realizes how much he loves it. Nyanko's the one who helps Natsume get past it and remind him of all the bonds he's made in the human world before fading away.
With Natsume using the book of friends to fight against the Matoba. Then it becomes more popular than ever as a generic battle shounen and receives a never ending anime adaptation from Pierrot. Natsume Yuujinchou would then take Naruto's place and join One Piece and Bleach in the Big Three.
Natsume is super special in the manga, not that he isn't in the anime but they play it down and change his hair and eye colour so he doesn't stand out as much from others like in the manga. In a fairly recent chapter he found out besides his grandmother having powers,
there's another male that looks like him from a dragon yokai which he thinks is his grandfather. So he could be more than the reincarnation of Reiko like previously speculated.
My only real complaint with this show is all the episodes involving other humans. At its best it's easily up there with Aria but I just couldn't invest myself in the episodes involving other people. Season 1 was perfect because it was just Natsume and the Yokai,
I picked this show up Friday and i'm only on episode 6. But god damn am I loving every second. Does it get even better?
Only reason you should be afraid of watching Natsume is if you're afraid of crying.
Yeah, I hope otaku will keep their waifushit out of every anime ever, but we can't have everything now, can't we?
Why is his mom so cute?
Are you 10?
Also this reminds me that I cried a lot during the first season, this and the small god episode crushed me for some reason.
Just got done watching S4 yesterday, series was pretty great. Kamiya's voice is very calming. All of Natsume's backstory was depressing as shit though.
All the girls are cute, but Taki cutest.
Oh, fuck. I forgot the firefly episode, that one was just sad.
This guy was a dick.
He protected her so all is forgiven.
Every season sold around 10k. The exact same fans bought every season. The numbers were nearly always the same.
Please don't jinx it.
DRR is outsourced and is full QUALITY.
We need BB for Natsume.
Why does this do so well? I watched the first 6 or so episodes and just came out feeling drained and bored. It's not a bad series, I'm not trying to troll; but doesn't the schtick get incredibly old by S4?
BrainsBase workers actually likes Natsume, and they fully welcomed the mangaka into their studios all the time. That's why it's so good; a full time cooperation between the original author and the studio. Probably the reason they decided to make a short movie of another manga by the same artist (Hotarubi no Mori E)
If you don't like calming, episodic shows with positive or bittersweet endings then it's just not for you. There's a lot of character development throught all the seasons, but since they're slow placed I can see some people getting frustrated with it, I find it more believable than most shows.
That's the point, he doesn't fit into the normal world and Reiko also has sliver hair and green eyes in the manga.
You can always watch Yama no Susume, anon.
Did you ever think that you just liked those shows because of the cute girls? That's what I realized when I watched Natsume a few years ago. Recently I rewatched it and loved it though.
>a natsume thread stayed up all night
There is also an OVA.
I would be Reiko's friend so hard, guys, I'm not joking.
