At the least, expect good fights against the villain generals. If you're talking about the series, then yes. GoPri is pretty good, it's the ongoing one. As for the next season, it seems we're going to have a 2 Cure team like FW, but nothing is certain yet.

All series had its up and down points.
DokiDoki had one great, continous arc, but became quite bad for its second half.
HaCha had some very great, badass fights, but it felt lacking in many aspects, and had very poor "straight" elements.
GoPri doesn't have an outstanding weakness, yet it feels a bit too bland and not using the setting to its advantage.

HC is the only series that comes close to GoPri, but only on the back of its consistency because it's not stunning very often. But don't listen to that nonsense about GoGo, it's a very, very distant third. The density of decent fighting doesn't even come close to either of these two even though it has some decent moments in the final quarter.
The DX movies are pretty stunning, though, and the NS movies are still decent even though they're a noticeable step down.

I really didn't like Doki or HaCha but are there really skippable seasons? I'd like to think that there are, that people don't have to waste 20 hours of their lives every year but I don't think there's any way people would agree on which ones to skip. You're technically missing new content if you skip the stock footage every time. The dialogue is re-recorded. For instance, I always found the first time HaCha use Innocent Harmony to be funny since there's that weird gasp at the start, but other times sound way different. They also change the visuals in the OP some seasons so you're missing that.

Most of the episodes are surprisingly average. Overall, I think GoPri has a bigger amount of good fights, but when the HCs fought, man they fought. It does seem like the theme is empathy (as someone else pointed out) and development. Sure Tsubomi gets the most, but Sunshine and Moonlight also got their fair share as well. I'll be honest though, I don't understand which part people refer to when they say it has a weak climax. Only the events of the last episode seemed weak, especially after those good general fights and that Yuri suffering from the previous episode. The villain should havebeen finished off with the Heartcatch Mirage.It seemed too forced to do it the way they did. I was also surprised that the movie was canon. I don't think it happens with any other one, sadly. Oh, and one more thing. Does the ending imply thatTsubomi's sister is a Precure too?

I saw Dune less as a final boss, and more of a catalyst towards the development of the girls and generals. It seems to be a problem with storytelling. You can only show so much of that many characters. The generals' characters really surprised me, though I wish they all had as much development as Sasorina.
