I didn't read Japanese reviews (yet), but I'm very glad that I fly here to watch it. Basically it's what we've seen in PV. Lots of amazing animation, no monologue, backgrounds all hyperreal 3D (but very well matched with the character movements.)
I think they use 3DCG for character in only single scene. But it was very hard to tell. Everything else related to characters are all 2D animation.

Overall, I think Oishi is questioning himself how would he make Bake direction style worth the theatre screen, and the result is Kizu. And he definitely succeeded.

Probably hard to keep the hype throughout the year. The movie is only 1 hour and its content is more of a "episode 1" than anything. They show Vampire Hunters, Oshino stopped them, go to meet Kissshot, Oshino ask for 2 millions (was it?) to help, Kissshot agrees. Oshino make some remark and it just end.
