Every time /a/ has a gundam thread, people start shit-talking her. I can't believe I have to be the one to do this, but I'm going to point out what should have been immediately obvious to the general anime-watching crowd from the beginning.

Paptimus Scirocco was a Newtype with phenomenal abilities to influence the minds of others. We see this demonstrated over and over again, most noticeably with Sarah (who had an easier time resisting as a Newtype) and Yazan, who went from an uncooperative maverick to Scirocco's buddy in one meeting. You can call Mouar a better girl for holding out, but she also was able to get the fuck away from the Alexandria and was too good for this world anyway. Scirocco had plenty of time to fuck with Reccoa's head while doing his whole 'gaze into your eyes while caressing your cheek in a totally creepy hypnosis way' thing to her when they first met in person. All of her logic for switching sides was ridiculous for a reason, it was a rationalization to cover up the fact that she'd been psychically violated and emotionally manipulated by a ruthless Jovian Newtype madman. Criticizing her for the choice she was FORCED into making is literally victim blaming and unspeakably shitty. I'm ashamed of you, /a/, won't you at least have the decency to admit you were wrong and apologize for your behavior?

Earth is peaceful, mines Jupiter for money, basically the same Jovian people as UC, but not.
MC is a kawaii Jovian girl who became a MS pilot to protect Hydrogen shipments to Earth. She develops a heart disorder and has to basically slave at her job in oder to get her meds to keep living.
As piracy continues to rise from the asteroid belt she has to fight them off more and more.
Meanwhile the pirates have an ace pilot who is also a girl, also afflicted by the same heart disorder.
Both girls discover each other, and the first season ends with a gripping fight in which MC loses and ends up captured by the Pirates.
S2 would involve the second girl working for both their sake, and as MC recovers she has to make the best of being on the other side, and the moral issues that come with fighting against your own people
