Tamako Market is literally the only show I've ever dropped.
Good characters and episodal plot are replaced by heavy japanese culture references. It's not for anime fans but straight-up japanophiles. Other anime are "bento tatami gohan" at best, but Tamako Market has to remind you every 5 seconds that this shit happens in Japan. I don't see actual japanese people enjoying this either.
Tamako Market is one of my favorite anime.
