I believe she is right that normal people couldn't understand the life of a magical girl in much the same way that normal people can't understand the life of a soldier. Soldiers often talk about how when they come back into regular society and they casually refer to the fact that they killed people (as they did amongst their fellow army men), it tends to create an awkward atmosphere or they may even find outright hostility. Only soldiers understand the hardships they've been through. This applies to magical girls too.
Overall, as a Kyouko fan, I agree with all of your points. I just disagree with the conclusion.

I've argued this countless times Homura is actually a saint compared to Madoka.
