A boy falls over a girl, and kills her.
Panic gripping him, he takes her phone and tries to call an ambulance, only for it to start ringing in his hand. Too shocked to care about the strange area code, he immediately answers and is disturbed to hear the girl's voice on the other side.
After some stuttered questions between them, he finds out that the girl he is talking to is not the same girl he killed. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who had killed the MC's own AU self by falling on top of him.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other plausible alibis in order to avoid going to jail over the manslaughter of their other selves. While the two do their best to avoid the law, DRAMA ensues as they begin to battle their conscience and question the NATURE of MURDER.
