I've seen countless people appreciate and even love Dressrosa after reading it in one go. It was the waiting a week thing that the majority of people. Without that, Dressrosa is quite nice. It begins feeling rather comfy then shit hits the fan around every corner.

I think the crew is a fine size and it doesn't really make sense to have people join the crew past the halfway mark. I'd be surprised if Oda added anymore straight up crew members (the exception being Jimbei who luffy met before the halway point).
It just makes sense to me that One Piece part one would largely be about the crew gathering and affirming their loyalty to Luffy and Part 2 would be about the growing legend of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Why do people hate Sakazuki so much? Was talking to my friends about the Admirals, told them that they're all pretty cool and the Sakazuki was my favorite and they called me a dick.

I like him because he's easily the most competent Admiral. He got in Whitebeard's face more than one time and dealt good damage, even after massive quake injuries he still got back up and chased after the commanders himself and it took Shanks in his face to stop him.
Kizaru is lazy and lets pirates like all 11 rookie Supernovas get away, Aokiji is the same, Fuji lets pirates/revs like Doflamingo and Sabo walk all over him and even mass murderers like Jack manage to slip his grip.

Shanks is a mystery for me. He is one of my favorite character in the serie but we know almost nothing about him.
He have no devil fruit, he is a skilled swordman apparently but he is not a swordman,the only thing we know is that he is probably the strongest haki user. And yet, everyone respect/fear him.
