Anti-sprial continuously seem to test their determination rather than their strength though out the battles. Alway presenting massive force to be reckoned, but always leaving a gap for success.

Nah, the Anti-Spiral explains it himself; the real way to defeat a Spiral warrior is to fight them on even terms and beat them. If you try to overpower them, the Spiral will just dig deeper for that willpower boost and overcome you. By present just barely enough force to be a threat but not enough to trigger that "desperate last stand" instinct, you can kill them much easier.
