She'll be a weapon for him. It's clear that's what the main story was meant to be, with her being stuck in a half-spirit state, and gods needing spirits for weapons. They'll be lovey dovey just like with Nora, but this time for real.
She'll be a japanese katana obviously, but there will be no hilt: it ends in a curled up cat-tail like substance instead. You can't hold it in your hand, but Yato's dick fits into the tube. He can only use Hiyori when he is erect, and the stronger the boner, the stronger the weapon becomes. This is to they make sure Yukine stays relevant. Yato can hold Yukine in his two hands, and Hiyori down bottom. Three sword style is his ultimate style.
Hiyori will confess to Yato during the fight, and says that she is ready to abandon the human world to stay with him. But still remembers how he ended up with Nora, and doesn't want to place this burden on her. But Hiyori's grip on him has strengthened as she confessed, and Yato can barely control himself anymore. They become extremely strong like this, but Yato wonders if this is the right thing to do.
In the critical moment when it looks like all is lost, he makes his decision. He must let Hiyori go. He ejaculates 400 years worth of semen with the force off a thousand Suns, ejecting Hiyori ahead at great speed, and impregnating her at the same time. The villain did not see this coming, and Hiyori impales him. Yato unnames Hiyori, turning her back into human form, and widening the wound on the villain. The battle is won. Hiyori's soul returns peacefully to her human body, and she loses all her memory. She feels her stomach feels weird, as if she ate too much, and it hurts a bit to walk, but then she dismisses it, it must be just her imagination.

Hiyori will die, but her soul will go back in time, to the time when she was happiest, which was when she was with Yato. However, since Yato loves the human Hiyori, Ghost Hiyori will become his mother, and dwell in the Underworld where she has cute tea parties. And there is also cake. Come and have some delicious cake, Yatooooo~

It probably means inevitable suffering and pain for those two. I'd like to think that regardless of who tied their plaque, they're still soulmates. It just takes more effort to reach a well-deserved ending.

I think we're reaching somewhere close to the climax as the story has delved into wider problems in-universe, like the Heaven.

I think this will be more like the chaos Yatodad unleashed at the hospital and it'll go back to everyday stories and problem-solving. But I'm not gonna complain, since Noragami tells stories like the gods' festival or the ghost in the painting really well.
