I dunno, at least with Vitamin C you have some control, and can return to normal, you're just really fucking soft. GER is just fate, you will die, but you will never die the same way, it's nasty, but at least you aren't experiencing the same death endlessly. Act 4 is horrifying though. No matter where you go, what you do, who you are, you will be trapped. You can never be moved from where you are stuck. You will stay there, you will die there, and you will rot there. Thats pretty fucking nightmarish.

The entire arc was a callback to Kakyoin. Hazamada contrasted Kakyoin heavily despite sharing so much in-common with him. It might also be to show the difference between a new stand user and someone born with an ability like that.
