I got overly emotional anyway since i've never rewatched Aria after completing it the first time three years ago. I missed Neo-Venezia so much that right when I saw the water at the very beginning of the OVA I started crying a little bit.
Ever since watching the new OVA I've had an uncomfortable feeling I haven't had since finishing Origination. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but seeing everyone grown up like that makes me incredibly uncomfortable.

My goodness, the commentary (with Alicia, Akira and Akari's voice actors) was comfy.

I'm just gonna say it.
I always hated the voices of the cats especially President Aria, I liked him in the manga but the voice ruined him. I also never liked Aika from the way she treats Akari, even if it is meant to be in a teasing way, I still didn't like it and her catchphrase wears of pretty fast. Same with Alice, she's to autistic and the way she brushes of poor Athena who clearly wants to be her firend in the beginning. Don't get me started on that episode with the left hand or something. Akatsuki too was boring, would have been nice if he'd have gotten a bit more character to him.
I love ARIA but those things I never liked.
There is only one problem. OVA is too short. If only we could see season 4...

I always loved them. They help make the emotional bits more integrated with the rest of the show so to speak. So it doesn't get too serious and kind of helps them maintain their character.

Going by the series, the best bet for ARIA Company's location would be somewhere on the Riva degli Schiavoni. You can't miss it, it's the major waterside 'road' leading from the Palazzo Ducale all the way down the southern edge of the city.
There's no house there, but it's a damn nice walk. Takes you all the way to Castello from San Marco, meaning fewer crowds and the sight of the impressive Arsenale.

Regarding timeframes in this series, do they measure the years in mars or earth years? Its a bit confusing. For instance, alicia is like 19 at the start of the series but she looks mid 20s. And by the end it would either be 3 or 6 years respectively. Also, whens the ova meant to take place. Akari looks a good 7-8 years older and ai looks the same as she did in origination.

That's technically impossible, seasons change due to distance from the sun, and one such cycle constitutes a year. Three winters passing on Mars means 6 earth winters.

So, just so you guys don't keep digging this hole. Seasons happen because of the angle of incidence of a given hemisphere to the orbital plane. That's why it's summer in Australia when it's winter up here.
Mars seasons would be 1/4 it's orbital period. So twice as long as earth's, with 4 seasons per year.
