It's actually for the better that she didn't return. OVA 3 was shit and the returning cast sounded rusty as hell anyways.
I couldn't even stand to watch the whole thing. I watched the first few episodes then skipped to the last one. The introduction of so many unlikable characters and shoving the former cast aside really killed it for me.

That's where she lived originally, but then Mihoshi blew up the house when she activated the emergency breaks, when her shuttle was crashing onto the house. The house was then rebuilt and gave each of the girls their own bedrooms. All except Washu, who lives in her own solar system of planets that are her laboratories.

That is the only piece of recent official art that was made by the 4th season committee, as seen in the bottom right corner of the picture.
I can't guaranteed that this art is representative of the final anime release, it just depends on what TIME the story is set in. Until they put up a proper press release, this is all we got.

Don't forget Ryoko Balta, who as a child had her whole genome scrambled to hide her ancestry. Or that the GXP has supersoldier serum as standard issue, and that is why casualties are so limited in wars.
The Tenchi world is truly advanced. Wealthier people buy and sell entire planets, Mihoshi's uncle had a planet he owns that serves as his private garden. Jurai has a planet that is terraformed into a giant fish farm that they harvest for fish once a year. And of course, Washu's laboratory is composed of multiple planets, held in a pocket universe.
