The prologue and epilogue to the Buu saga had those moments. Great Saiyaman on one end and then that one episode in the life of fat Buu on the other. Jolly people who are comically powerful just going about their lives. Hell, the basis of One Punch Man is a similar formula to those fillers.
If there was a slice of life series about the adventures of fat Buu, I'd watch it. Just look at this carefree fuck. There could be meteors falling from the sky and demons coming from the ground, and he'd still be enjoying the shit out of that ice cream.

Super hasn't been all bad. The Beerus portion had some great action, but also had some really shitty parts. The slice of life stuff after that and before Freiza was really really good. So if you decided to not watch it, you missed out on those great episodes.
I would say the current Frieza saga is worthless though. Everyone is just wanting it to be over so they can get on to the new stuff.

I've let the show off for it's shit quality so far.
Everybody's seen the movies, they're just reanimating content we've all seen, so using the bottom barrel animators is understandable.
But if Toei fucking DARE make the Universe 6 Tournament arc shit. IF THEY FUCKING DARE, I am dropping this show.Luckily the manga's been a lot of fun. No it's not groundbreaking like the old days but it's funny and easy to enjoy. Plus the U6 fighters look a lot better than I thought they'd be (besides Majin Pooh)

Are you kidding me? Battle of Gods was way better than Resurrection F.
Battle of Gods had a cool new villain, a lot of great throwbacks to the series, a new transformation that didn't look like something cooked up by an 8 year old on Deviant Art, a great sense of humour reminiscent of Dragon Ball and some really good action scenes.
Resurrection F had good action scenes and some phenomenal voice acting but that was pretty much it. For all the hype, Golden Frieza was a complete fucking pushover. So there was pretty much no tension whatsoever.
I probably shouldn't be complaining since, unlike Battle of Gods and basically every other anime movie I've seen other than Yu-Gi-Oh in 2004, I got to see it at my local cinema and on top of that I saw it on a free ticket that I won at an anime convention. But even though I went in with pretty mild expectations I still walked out disappointed.
