I only like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, the rest of his stuff isn't so good, barring Digimon.
Summer Wars was a snoozefest and Wolf Children had too much melodrama and trash compacting.

Please do not just watch the movies which are directed by him especially when he left Toei Animation. That is his another style, such as Studio Ghibli's style.

Please watch EP.29 of Revolutionary Girl Utena, EP. 26 of Tomorrow`s nadja, and EP.49 of Ojamajo Doremi Dokka~n! You may know another style of him.

I really dislike this guys movies, I have no idea why people regard them as good as other directors such as Satoshi Kon.

Summer Wars was fucking stupid and a GWLTT was not enjoyable in any way shape or form. I have yet to see wolf children but only because I've been disappointed enough with his work already.

If it helps, Wolf Children is basically his best work. Has a couple scenes that make it extremely hard not to cry.

TokiKake is brilliant. Ookami Kodomo is good. Summer Wars is decent. Definitely a good director, far better than Shinkai failure.
