One so obscure that I can't remember the name of it. It was semi-recent harem shit. MC has a childhood friend who is really good at kendo, but isn't supposed to do it anymore because she hurt herself. Some transfer student yandere forces him to pretend to be her BF, and hijinks ensue. At one point there's some chuuni bitch thrown into the mix who literally does nothing at all. Eventually they all end up at a beach and he decides to bang his childhood friend for life. It's extremely confusing, and I don't think I'll ever remember the name of it. I have no idea why I finished it.

Just booted it up again a half hour ago as my pre bedtime comfy show/movie.
I saw it apparently the one and only time it aired on Toonami back in like 2000. Some anon on here helped me find it again like a month or two ago and it's become one of my favorite shows ever. Nostalgia goggles are no doubt on, because the 3D animation is objectively bad, but given the time, was considered top tier. The story and actual animation is actually pretty great. I'd recommend at least watching it once; it consists of four 30 minute episodes so it isn't much of a commitment at all.

Which is kind of why I love this show so much. Whether you think Zorndyke was right in his actions or whether you think he was wrong, it deals the reality of "this happened; how can humanity cope?"
