reddit is full of normalfags who are ruining anime. Anime used to be special because not everyone knew about it and only those with taste liked it. Nothing pisses me off more when a normalfag likes anime, we need to discourage normalfags from liking anime if we are to save it because they have the shittiest taste possible.

Your mostly correct, but reddit was hated because unlike 4chan were anonymity rules, reddit relies on acceptance from others. For example this shit thread is allowed to exist here, regardless if everyone likes it or not. On reddit it would be downvoted.

Reddit is intended to be used a news aggregate. Discussion is non existent there because everyone just wants to be the funniest guy and get all the upvotes.
4chan doesn't have upvotes and posts are ordered chronologically so it is intended for honest, open discourse. But is also good as a news aggregate for any big news or events.
At their core, they are very different.

Even if I were to visit reddit, why would I feel hate or anger out of all possible emotions? Trolls and shitposters win when you feel hate or get angry, so why would I want to give anyone else that satisfaction? You are just further encouraging them to keep posting things you dislike.
