Toriyama keeps making up abilities just like in fullbring arc. There is nothing wrong with making a new ability all the time, its the fact that nearly all of them are blatantly overpowered or so oddly specific. For example there is this one character who can imagine anything and it will happen, there is no reason for this character to try and get stronger because of this bullshit power. I'm not sure if I like this current setup with the MC being so ridiculous near the end that he can't have a single fight. I think the problem lies in Kubo not having drawn women who look nearly as negroid as the guys. While it's clear that characters like Gantenbainne are supposed to black, the closest we've seen female-wise are Jackie and Mila-Rose, who honestly look more like hispanic, or anime-asian-with-dark-skin, than black.
Yoruichi is probably supposed to be a sand negress, but until we see a straightforwardly black lady in Bleach, it's hard to quell that suggestion.
Also there is no "white look" or "asian look" in Bleach, at least not generally.
