Not really. I think Mika feeding from her directly was a rare event. She cut her writst and filled those things with her blood for him. The scene we saw in the manga/anime when he was on the verge of losing it, it hints that it was rare for him to bite her unless he was hurting so much and didn't realize what he was doing (as he threw her away and apologized afterwards).
