Anyway, Gunbuster is shit for the first three episodes. The last episode is masterpiece material. The remaining 2 were alright.

The first two episodes are shit. The third is okay. The remaining three are incredible.
I just finished watching the last 3 episodes in a row 5 minutes ago. It was pretty good, had me tearing up at the end. But the whole time I couldn't stop about thinking how interstellar ripped this off. Has there ever been anything else that focuses about time passage in space realistically that interstellar could have copied?

At first episode I thought it will top Gunbuster, even though there was some terrible cgi, boy how wrong I was. For next episodes I wished special squad all dies horrible way.
Yet, I'd still recommend watching it. Nonon and last scene are worth it.
