If Bandai really wants to make more UC, they should do the Star Wars thing and retcon sidestories in the future for what they prefer animated, and not adapt popular alternate UC manga

If this meant more late UC, I'd be all for it. But no it won't.
What they need to do is move the UC story to places it hasn't been - which Turn A and G Reco kind of did, but there's still such a massive gap between them and Victory.

The only way is late UC, which seems unrealistic as you implied, but it could be done. Just rework F90, even with Unicorn existing, Mars Zeon is still the last of the last of the last Zeon remnants and Zeon sells.
