I am talking about the one with Yugi and company. Both of the random arcs have the group get trapped in a video game because of kaiba. The first one is two episodes and the next one is much later and is about the length of an entire season. Both can be skipped without losing anything important because they're just filler

Same, it actually made the character better. To this day, Kaiba stands as one of the single greatest characters in anime. Even more so if you decide to count filler arcs, which you shouldn't. Kaiba is responsible for so much misery in other people's lives.
