To be more specific, he has the highest recorded physical strength of all the S class. But that's not his real speciality; Darkshine's real power is his perfect shiny skin, which so far appeared to be impenetrable. Think Organic Steel. Even Doctor Genus had Darkshine on his shortlist of heroes he waned to capture and study, along with Watchdogman.
That doesn't mean he can't be beat, he actually stated outright that Silver Fang beat him in a friendly match. It is possible to harm him indirectly through blunt force if you are skilled like Silver Fang is. But as far as tanking damage outright is concerned, Darkshine is your man. This is likely why he didn't participate in the alien battle as he would overshadow the others.
