I mean the series is good and all but it's really not a masterpiece. The quality of the series declined after the Golden Age and it honestly lost its mojo. It's not bad per se but it's not great as it use to be.

Golden Age created the main conflict in the whole series whereas Conviction arc is basically fights plus the introduction of dumb characters. Thinking that this arc is the best falls under special snowflake syndrome.
The only thing good about the series is the art.
I love it, but I can see that after golden age arc, there were some low points. But the art is usually beautiful, the characters are deep, and interesting. But its not great in direction sometimes.
There is also an other problem: there is no way it will end in our lifetime. I mean FUCK, we got off the goddamn boat, and we go on a hiatus again. Goddamnit, this manga started like one or two years before my birth, and still is not even close to ending. Being a fan is the most fucked thing ever.
