It's a slice of life comedy called Dr Otaku.
It's about a kiss under achieving genius otaku named Toi who wanted to be an animator. However his strict Jap parents made him follow the family tradition of being a doctor. He chooses to become a gynecologist. The first 2 eps are a summarization of his childhood to his medical school graduation at the age of 21 to help introduce his character.
In the 3rd episode he starts his job and moves in with his younger sister who goes to college in the area. In spite of the fact they are complete polar opposites that always have been close.
He has an unpleasant surprise when he starts getting settled into his career as a gynecologist. Most of his is patients aren't as young, pretty, thin, ect as in his favorite harem animes. Then there's also the odors; they are smells so rancid and foul he thought he was gonna die at times. Over time he starts getting more used to it. Besides work he has no social contact with anyone but his sister. Eventually his sister convinces him to start going out with her and her friends. It is very awkward for him at first but it starts to become slightly more comfortable each time. One night she decides to take him to a dance club. He ends up dancing with a very cute girl and one thing leads to another and he ends up banging her. He felt a level of happiness he never felt before. She doesn't call or answer his afterwords When he finally finds her she explains it was nothing but a drunken one night stand which is crushes the heart of the young man who thought he was in love. This causes him to start to regress to his old self.
A couple months later his sister shows up for an appointment. Even a hardcore otaku like him doesn't want to finger his sister no matter how hot she is. He can tell by the serious look in her face that she needs him right now so he sucks it up, straps on his gloves and gets up in there. He finds what appears to be a tumor on her clitoris.

He takes a scraping and sends it off to the lab. When the tests come back it confirms what he feared; cancer. They hug each other and cry.
This tragic experience helps motivate him to get out of his slump. He decides heget out and socialize more a find a girl. He wants his sister to have a brother she is truly proud of. He has a hard time since before that one night stand he was a kiss less virgin. At one point a nurse at his doctor's office decides to set him up on a date with one of her cousins. She's a total normie but they end up hitting it off great. They end up becoming bf and gf. Near the end up the anime there is a 4 year time skip. They are now married. His sister's tumor is gone but her cancer isn't yet it's manageable. He promised her that he'd always be there for her like she was for him.
While this show has its share of corny comedy it's also a very serious story about leaving your past behind you,evolving into a new person, and making to most out of the only life you have.

Latest US presidential elections end up in a tie. To solve this, all the population is summoned to a re-election, which ends up with yet another tie, so it's decided that both candidates have to be President together, and none of them can do anything without the other's approval. They also have to live together. Both candidates are an exxagerated stereotype of their respective parties, wacky hijikns ensue as they have to convive with each other and learn to work together for America's good. They learn about each other, and eventually gain an appreciation of the other's opinions. Which turns out to be extremely useful when they have to fend off an alien invasion.

A normal MC fantasizes about being sent to another world as a hero, just like in his Japanese animes. When it suddenly happens, he is quick to except. However, instead of the magic spells and legendary swords that he was expecting, he finds himself defending a tiny city from normal-sized animals. The city and people are so small that MC is basically a kaiju.

As time goes on, the tiny people begin to split. Some view MC as a hero that protects them from "monsters", some view him as a menace who's fights cost them millions in collateral damage, some view him as a god and formed radical cults, and some view him as a threat and shoot at him with their tiny, tiny tanks.

Now MC must deal with his crushed expectations while he fights monsterous creatures such as a deer, a cat, and five squirrels.

The catch: the MC is actually a loser, not some underrated guy that is actually very strong, he is, indeed, weak as shit. Most of the time is spend of him being beaten up, his will power and bravado only getting him pity points, not actually making him stronger. Plot progresses with him winning more and more of his fights through preparation time and being witty. He start building his harem by acting like Don Juan, not by being nice enough.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE

-She asks the MC if he wants to escape with her, to where? Anywhere, travel the world and find out. With no money, passport, spare clothes, guitar, or translator book (He can only speak Japanese other than the odd English), he decides to tag along with her.
-She reveals that she is the daughter of a rich family and has had a strict and boring life, she's using this opportunity to travel the world and have fun. (She can speak English, Portuguese, and Japanese)
-The story follows the two as they travel, running away from the people hired by the girl's parents, the angry locals they troubled, uncomfortable way of lives, and the MC's failed attempts at finding his true love.
-Emphasis on the relation between the two leads, current issues in the regions they visit, as well as the life of backpacking across the world.

The world is full of over-the-top heroes and villains. Everything is crazy and campy (like what one would see in power rangers). The MC is a henchman of a local villain, but he is the straight man is a very comedic world.

When others are monologuing and robbing the city bank with their evil weather machine, he is using common sense and a gun to track down and stop problems.

A 12 episode anime where every episode is christmas a year later than the previous episode, the mc being 10 in the pilot and 22 in the final episode. The show also documents the days leading up to christmas, new years and the days following. It deals with the trials and tribulations of growing up and facing new experiences and consequences while leaving a lot of the not animated storyline to the viewer to theorize since the show only captures a short glimpse into the MC's life.
