It would be nowhere near as simple as that.
The idea that she is a completely unimportant human being, only one in a crowd of a faceless mass is central to Haruhi as a character. It's the core of her being, the reason for all of her behavior.
The first time Kyon actually tried to tell her the truth, tell her about their friends being an alien, a time traveller and an ESPer, she completely brushed him off. Because while she desperately seeks the extraordinary, she views herself and her life as painfully ordinary.
Getting Haruhi to believe that she is a fundamentally special would require her to discard the mindset she has had since she was a sixth grader. It would mean that she'd have to fundamentally change as a person.

Different anon, but in Disappearance the circumstances were different. In Disappearance, a random guy that she's never met before wearing the uniform from a different school who happens to fit the profile of John Smith walks up to her and tells her he needs her help. As Kyon observes before he approaches her, she's clearly not as happy with her life in Disappearance as she is normally, so she'd be much more prone to latching on to something that promises to be interesting, regardless of whether or not she believes him.

The pachinko's a port of the Haruhi Hunting pachinko. It had little to do with haruhi.tv, Sankyo just chose a relevant date (like they did with the HH campaign) to release it.
The website flipping out was to tie in with Disappearance dates, as well as updating the site to link to the Yukichan anime page, as the alt-universe.

I'll elaborate a bit, then.
There is literally no new information.
It was just a little meta-style treat/easter-egg to update the site, since the Yukichan anime is the only relevant thing of recent.
The escape program is word for word from the movie, the clip itself was a clip from the movie. There was no voting, it was just to "roleplay" the events in the movie.
It is not a joke they decided to do out of nowhere, but rather more that these were the dates where the events the anime/movie took place, and in tradition, they decided to tie it in like that. If the Disappearance film took place in July, this would've happened in July. Perhaps it seems out of place since the Yukichan anime aired 2015 Spring, rather than 2015 Fall.
