Making it a generic high school mecha harem but with a fantasy twist doesn't really help it much.
Still, from what I've read from the LN it isn't so bad; the world has potential for decent world building at least, the harem is top tier and fun, MC's still a faggot though, but what the hell are you doing watching a harem for anything but the girls?
My only complaint with this is that there aren't any signs of elves or beastgirls. Just regular old humansUnless you consider the ancients that look like humans and act like humans to be any different.
It would make sense if this was some low fantasy world without magic and shit, but goddamn, these people pilot mechs in shape of dragons fueled by what basically amounts to mana, dug up from ancient ruins to fight monsters and wage war. Have some more races, dammit.
