Nichijou is up there.
Nichijou has a lot of tryhard humour, so I can't say it's anywhere near the best I've watched.
I'd also make a comment about forced animation, but I'll leave it at that.

Nichijou was great, but Steins;Gate was just another level of amazing. Though Nichijou is great for rewatching when you're feeling down.

I don't think anyone who watches a lot of anime could narrow it down to just one favorite. You have to account for genres.
Nichijou is probably the 2nd best comedy anime I've watched though.Best is Nichibros.
This and only this. What other series comes close to being such a labor of love? There's no other anime I've seen so completely free of commercial corruption.
