I personally don't like it as much since it sometimes draws tension away from the scene, but when it is done welllike in volume 10 with Harutora's introduction to the shrineit make things seem more dramatic.

My least favorite reincarnation trope shit though is where the MC gets a harem based on the actions his ultimately better past-self did. All these girls glob onto him and they're not even looking at him but the hero or whatever from 100s of years ago.

As mentioned above, it rarely gets discussed on LN threads at all. I try to bring it up a few times but discussion rarely picks up. If you're lucky a new thread will pop up whenever a new LN comes out, but that's pretty much it.
