Yes. Deep anime like Lain or Evangelion make me think very about my life and the universe. I spend quite a lot of time analyzing them, always searching for hidden meanings and symbolism. It often takes many rewatches but I think it's worth it and that I'm not wasting my time. For example I probably invested around 2000 hours into watching and figuring out EVA. Every single time I rewatch that series I have a different view on things, there's always something to discover. I spend quite a bit of time trying to find the meaning behind the title, why did the director choose "Neon Genesis"? Why not any other title? Figuring this out requires a lot of background research on greek mythology and christianity and I've actually come up with a solid theory. I've written it all down, it's not polished yet and still needs a little bit of work but it's around 700 pages long.

my faith in true love was restored and no longer am i in a rush to fall in love anymore, neither do i feel pressured to find someone and settle down, life is better when you don't have to worry about this kind of stuff and you can concentrate on becoming a better person, for yourself and for everyone around you.

Texhnolyze was a fantastic thinking anime.
Starting out like it did it expanded into something incredibly big, certainly one of my favorites.
However, you definitely have to be able to look past the build ups/introductions in the earlier episodes and try to understand the bigger pictures, many don't want to put that effort into things but imo that's what made the show so great, everything was for a reason.

I'd like to remind you that the most popular shows are shonenshit or edgy things like AOT and Tokyo Ghoul. Also you don't have to spend your time watching only 2deep4u stuff, sometimes a little break it's needed.
Gatchaman crowds. Yes I know it's sponsored by the government but I really liked how it tried to present some existing problems with the way mass thought works. It proposes an answer to the question it poses but still allows the viewer to think up its own alternatives.
