My money is on Nagi getting heartbroken after she sees Hayate seriously consider Hina's feelings, meaning she did misunderstand Hayate after all. We're still far from a resolution though.

In-game A-tan won the thing already and Hayate still loves her, but she got lolified and their romance plot line is somewhat dead, so meta is clearly against her.
Ruka almost won, so she got a standard "almost a winner" treatment and was removed from the plot and the bowl.

The chapter where Hayate gets rid of his debt is pretty cryptic in terms of how it changed the status quo.
For one, he could easily end up in debt again up to the end of this arc. Aside from that, this gets rid of Hina's temporary goal (while also rendering it moot) given that Hayate is clearly going to continue being Nagi's butler regardless of the money.
I'd be leaning towards a Nagi win if her "Hayate loves me!" thoughts weren't spliced in between the ominous "the path to the castle is opened by great despair" messages.

I used to read HnG regularly some 9 to 7 years ago. I vividly remember that one weekend morning where I went to check onemanga.com and HnG, after a year without updates, received a single, massive update with 100 or so chapters. I can't remember where it started but it went all the way to Hayate being on some kind of special island, Hina finding out that Hayate loves someone else and Hayate going off to fight with Athena, the person he loves or something. Then, his debt is removed and Nagi loses the mansion and money and other stuff I can't remember the specifics of.
This was back when I still used to take Maplestory seriously. I can't imagine anyone staying loyal to the series after all these years.

I still think there should have been a big chunk of plot dedicated to loli-athena falling in love with Hayate by herself, not just because of the memories of her former self. Then when she is inevitably able to return to adult form, she seriously is frightened to have her memories back, for it would mean for herself, and the love she formed, to cease being hers.
There could be an entire arc contemplating whether or not to actually become adult again, whether it would be selfish to just keep being her and not go back. The conclusion would be a teary-eyed Hachikuji Mayoi type goodbye scene with a "Hayate I love you, not as Athena, but as ME", as she returns to adult form.
Depending on how Hata would write it this could also serve as a foil to the "Athena can't become an adult again because she would immediately win the Hayatebowl" arguments. The fact that loli-athena loved him will internally deter his resolve to pursue Athena romantically.
