Who's worse? Araki (Guilty Crown) or Miura (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works)?
>>134990540
Miura, definitely.
Didn't Araki direct SnW?
the direction itself in GC was excellent, the problem was the fucking shit plot and characters and that's on fault of the writers
>>134990775
Sora no Woto? No, he didn't.
>>134990775
The same scriptwriter wrote both shows but the director was the Elfen Lied guy.
>>134990842
Oh I keep mixing up Elfen Lied and GC for some reason.
>>134990540
Araki because he ruined SnK. Even more than Miura raped UBW.
Both are equally cancerous. It's an impossible choice.
>>134990779
Araki is the director, he had to approve what went into the writing.
I haven't gotten around to watching UBW. Are people massively disappointed by it? It felt like there was a lot of excitement that ufotable was re-adapting it. What went wrong?
Guilty Crown and other Araki anime as least look good.

It's not really that people are massively disappointed. I think there are a lot of people who found it average or forgettable, but the ones who actually hated it and thought it was a horrid butchering are in the minority. What you're seeing is mostly the ironic shitposters who think it's really funny to post endless threads about how the VN is a timeless masterpiece and the anime is a pale imitation that only secondaries would think is any good.

Inori a QT

Muh nigga

It was just a really bad adaptation by an amateur director who previously destroyed the 6th Kara no Kyoukai film.
It cut substance for flashiness, dumbed down the material for broader appeal, was poorly paced and directed in general. There was only one great episode (#20) because Takashi Suhara, one of Ufotable's up and comers, took creative control over Miura.
The directors I currently hate are Ishihara and Hiroyuki Hata (the director of recent Yuru Yuri)
Fukuda

Takashi Suhara needs to have control over Heaven's Feel.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. GC was almost perfect if it wasn't for the writing and character development, but unfortunately that matters a whole lot

Voted both. It's the right choice.
