I'll give you that the way we say anime is a little wonky. The pronunciation of the 'ni' is a little wrong, and the 'me' is too drawn out and sounds more like 'mei'.
But fuck you "Mahn guh" as you write is it exactly correct.

Kinda, but most of this is because anglophones just read letters differently than most languages.
